Auraday is a migraine diary. It has no account and no server. Your diary stays on your device. Auraday does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Who we are
Auraday is published by KeyLab. You can reach us at [email protected].
Data Auraday stores on your device
- Attack records: start and end times, intensity, pain location, symptoms, aura, migraine phases, possible triggers, and notes.
- Medications: your medication list, logged doses, and your "Did it help?" answers.
- Appointments: appointment dates and questions for your clinician.
- Preferences: reminder times, App Lock, and optional features.
This data is stored only on your iPhone and, if you use the Watch app, on your paired Apple Watch. The two devices exchange it directly. KeyLab never receives it.
Optional: cycle data from Apple Health
If you turn on the cycle view, Auraday reads Menstrual Flow from Apple Health to show attacks by cycle day. It is read on your device, not copied, and never written back to Health.
What Auraday never does
- No sign-up, no account, no Auraday server.
- No advertising, marketing, or data mining with your health data.
- No sale or sharing of your data with third parties.
- No third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting code.
Notifications, widgets, and the Live Activity never show medication names, intensity, notes, or symptoms. Crash reports, if you allow them in iOS settings, are handled by Apple.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Auraday only learns whether your subscription is active. KeyLab does not receive your payment details.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays until you delete it. You can delete single records at any time, or delete everything in Settings › Your data › Delete all data. Deleting the app also removes the data stored on the device.
You can export all attack and medication records as CSV or JSON in Settings › Your data, free of charge.
Your choices
You can withdraw access at any time in the iOS Settings app: Health (Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Auraday), Notifications, and Face ID. Turning off an optional feature in Auraday stops its data use.
Your rights
Because KeyLab holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side; you keep full control on your device. If you have a question or a request, write to [email protected]. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
Children
Auraday is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how data is handled, for example by adding optional sync or weather features, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
Medical disclaimer
Auraday is a personal log. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent migraine. Check with a doctor before making medical decisions.
